Enamelling classes and workshops
Enamelling is the art of fusing glass to a support, usually copper or silver. If you would like lessons to try your hand at this fascinating and ancient craft then why not contact me!
A beginners class would cover preparation, sifting and masking techniques, firing and finishing. These, and other more advanced classes, can be for a half or whole day, for individuals or small groups, even in your own home.
I am based on Merseyside and can offer tuition and courses for up to three or four people at a time in my own studio. I also have links with Merchant Taylors' School in Crosby and run workshops there for up to about ten people. If you are within an hour or so of the Wirral and can provide a venue or would like individual lessons at home, I can also visit and provide all the material needed to get you started.
For an individual visiting my home studio, I normally charge £45 for half a day and £75 for a full day (usually 10.30am till 3.30pm) but please email for details.
